Bad Wiki Names
A bad WikiName is the opposite of a GoodWikiName. It is a page name of a wiki page
which does not clearly tell what the page is about, or
which contains a status that might change over time (like ...Proposal), or
which uses a plural form while the 'thing' is referred to in singular as well,
etc.
all these names are 'bad' in the sense that they are a hinderance to good intertwingling, to useful embedding of links to that page in other contexts.
What to do?
If you encounter a page and believe it has a BadWikiName then
propose a better wiki name on that page.
If there is consensus, rename the page.
If the page is older, and you are not familiar with the history of our wiki, ask someone who is. There might be a good reason for the name or for keeping it even if it's bad.
There are many bad wiki names, which we will never change again: AdvancedRelationships is one of them: It is plural and how long will they stay 'advanced'? However, the name has stuck, so it would be stupid to rename the page.
Back Links to This Page
In the old days of this wiki there were many bad wiki names. From this time comes the custom to add BadWikiName to such pages. Then WikiZens could check the BackLinks to this page here, and go and rename the pages.
Nowadays the most important thing is: Don't create new pages with bad wiki names.
With the change of the wiki engine from UseMod to MoinMoin there also were a couple of BadMoinMoinWikiNames left which were WikiNames in UseMod but are not anymore in MoinMoin. We simply solved this problem by making the links to these pages ["ExplicitALinks"].
