This relationship type belongs to the Contract Relationship Class.
Description
This indicates that an artist was in a contractual (e.g. work-for-hire) relationship with a label.

“start date”
- This indicates the first day of contractual employment by the label.
“end date”
- This indicates the last day of contractual employment by the label.
“position”
- This indicates the type of contractual position.
Guidelines
This relationship should not be used if an artist was officially employed at a label.
The presence of any relationship type on a release, recording, or track by a label does not imply that the artist also should be linked with that label with this relationship. The artist being linked with this relationship type must be documented as having been contracted by that label.
