This relationship type belongs to the Musical Association Relationship Class.

Description

This links supporting artists to the artists for whom they played, on an album, in a live band, and/or in rehearsals. This relationship type is the functional equivalent of the Member Of Band Relationship Type for person artist targets, though the use of this relationship type for group artist targets is not forbidden, if the relationship would be correct.

Note

In cases of an eponymous group sharing a name with a person in the group, Band With Main Performer Name may be more correct, rather than using this relationship type.
