Description

This indicates an artist who conducted a performance.

This relationship type describes the action of conducting. Conductor Position Relationship Type or Choirmaster Position Relationship Type should be used to describe the fact that an artist was the conductor or choirmaster of an artist.

Attributes

  • start date
This indicates the date the conductor first conducted this specific performance.
  • end date
This indicates the date the conductor last conducted this specific performance.
  • additional
This indicates that the conductor was not the primary conductor for the performance.
  • instrument
This indicates the type of instrument or instrument section which was conducted. This should only be used if the conductor did not conduct all of the performers.
  • orchestra
This indicates the type of orchestra which was conducted. This should only be used if the conductor did not conduct all of the performers.
  • vocal
This indicates the type of vocal or choir which was conducted. This should only be used if the conductor did not conduct all of the performers.
  • guest
This indicates that the conductor was specifically designated as a guest conductor for the track or release. It should not be assumed simply because a conductor or choirmaster holds a "guest conductor" or "guest choirmaster" position with the group.
  • principal
This indicates that this conductor was the principal conductor for a performance involving multiple conductors.
