[edit] The MusicBrainz Users' Mailing List
If you are interested in keeping in touch or getting involved with the MusicBrainz project, please subscribe to the musicbrainz-users mailing list. This list is designed for general discussion about the MusicBrainz project and any general questions and issues that might arise.
[edit] Topics
The MusicBrainz user's MailingList is currently the most active of all MusicBrainzForums. It is the place for user to ask
- how best to use the current system
- what to do about controversial edits and votes
- problems using the web site or the client software
- questions about the exact interpretation of the StyleGuidelines
- possible future development
The last point, proposals and discussion of new features is not always seen favourably. MusicBrainz is a very complex system and new features need to fit into it. Therefore If you ask for a pony or your proposal does not fit into the current structure, you might get ignored. See MailingListDiscussion for some history about this problem.
[edit] Read Mail
- Combined archive of all MusicBrainz MailingList

- Gmane hosts another searchable archive, viewable in threaded and blog-like modes. Gmane also provides NNTP gateway for MusicBrainz MailingList
s. - MusicBrainz also hosts a pipermail archive. This is far less comfortable than the Nabble or Gmane archive, though.
