Installing Picard on Linux
Setup and install guide for Picard under Linux. If you don't want to install third party binary packages, have a look at PicardSourceInstall.
Ubuntu
To install Picard on Ubuntu (i386) follow these steps:
- If you haven't used universe and multiverse repositories yet, add them first.
- Add repository
deb http://users.musicbrainz.org/~luks/ubuntu edgy musicbrainz
to your/etc/apt/sources.list
. See Ubuntu documentation for more detailed guide on adding repositories. - Run these commands to update lists of package and install Picard
