When editing and adding releases in languages foreign to oneself, it can sometimes be daunting trying to figure out how the foreign credits/attributions should be properly mapped to MusicBrainz' AdvancedRelationships. So this is a project to try and help with that.

The project is somewhat inspired by MusicalTermsTranslations, but seeing how this is a much wider scope (some of the musical terms translations can be easily applied to neighbouring languages, these can't always) and the greater range of translations (which is going to continually be expanded upon, as more ARs are added), I decided to make a page of its own for the projects, and have also decided that translations should be on subpages (e.g. CreditTranslations/Danish) instead of in the page itself.

When all that is said... enjoy! (And add to the lists!) :)

Just a heads up that the same also exists for classical, in CSG/Translations -- BrianSchweitzer 07:28, 03 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Well, that one is hidden away in the CSG and also doesn't seem to attempt to map translations to ARs directly. It's also flawed in its setup per my language comments above - a table just won't do to capture all languages. -- FrederikSOlesen 09:59, 04 May 2008 (UTC)
