The LinkedBrainz project is intended to help MusicBrainz publish its database as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linked_Data. Linked Data is simply a method for publishing structured data on the web based on semantic web technologies. LinkedBrainz will provide

  1. a mapping of NGS and Advanced_Relationship to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_Description_Framework
  2. integration with MusicBrainz server code to provide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dereferenceable_Uniform_Resource_Identifier
  3. a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPARQL endpoint for querying MusicBrainz data
