Noel Cowley was born in Woolwich, south east London. He grew up in Dublin and Derry, Ireland, and now lives in London once again.

Without You, from Noel's new Hazy Summer Morning EP, was featured on BBC Introducing In Essex on 21st December 2012.

Hazy Summer Morning, an EP of four songs of love, loss and hope, is Noel’s debut release.

It's available from iTunes now: https://itunes.apple.com/ie/artist/noel-cowley/id577619657

The EP is a brotherly collaboration, produced by Dublin based multi-instumentalist/producer Ewan Cowley.

Hints and traces of the lyrical and melodic styles of Noel’s most enduring influences (Neil and Tim Finn, Fran Healy, Paul Brady, The Beatles, Paul Simon, Difford & Tilbrook, Bruce Springsteen, Stipe/Mills/Buck, Justin Currie, Elbow, Ron Sexsmith) – can be heard in his songwriting, and so it follows that the songs and sounds on Hazy Summer Morning echo the likes of REM, Teenage Fanclub, Squeeze, Crowded House, Simon & Garfunkel, George Harrison, Travis and Del Amitri.
