I am the maintainer of a few unix package ports of Fink for Mac OS X / Darwin.

Fink already contains wxPython 2.2 and 2.3 (auto-compile-only, no binaries--yet). Maybe someday I will look at creating Fink packages to help bring the PicardTagger to Mac OS X.
