User talk:Hrglgrmpf/iTunes Relationship Type

It's really hard to know whether something is or not exclusive, and I consider this to be useful for any release. I imagine it will be hard to convince some people that it is good, but to be honest, it'll be almost as hard anyway with the exclusivity requirement. What is "exclusive" anyway? Is it exclusive if iTunes is the only digital seller but there is a physical edition? What if it's sold in other places, but those places are region-restricted? (nikki said several Japanese releases are sold only in JP-only shops + iTunes). --Reosarevok 18:36, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

You are right, but the current de-facto guideline is already "only link to iTunes via 'can be purchased for download at'" when it is iTunes-exclusive, so this doesn't make anything worse. But since my "CD Baby" proposal got voted down, I do not plan to submit this for RFC anytime soon. Do you think such a relationship would be useful? Thanks for the feedback anyway, I wasn't aware that anyone would read this :-). --Hrglgrmpf 18:46, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
