Opera uses the same underlying engine as Chrome nowadays, so if you're using a recent version of Opera, things should just work. Let us know if they don't.

As of 26th March 2018, the MusicBrainz website officially supports the following browsers:

  • Apple Safari 9.0 or newer
  • Google Chrome 49 or newer
  • Edge 14 or newer
  • Internet Explorer 11 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox 52 or newer

A bug which affects any of these should be fixed. Bugs which only affect an unsupported browser or browser version will be considered but the developers may decide to close them as "won't fix".

Javascript support

The website should work with Javascript disabled if you're not logged in, or not editing data. Javascript is required to edit.

Mobile devices

The website currently does not fully support mobile devices. However, feel free to report any bugs so that we know what is broken.
