Revision as of 17:39, 18 September 2017

As of 18th September 2017, the MusicBrainz website officially supports the following browsers:

  • Apple Safari 9.0 or newer
  • Google Chrome 44 or newer
  • Edge 14 or newer
  • Internet Explorer 11 or newer
  • Mozilla Firefox 44 or newer
  • Opera 43 or newer

A bug which affects any of these should be fixed. Bugs which only affect an unsupported browser or browser version will be considered but the developers may decide to close them as "won't fix".

Javascript support

The website should work with Javascript disabled if you're not logged in, or not editing data. Javascript is required to edit.

Mobile devices

The website currently does not fully support mobile devices. However, feel free to report any bugs so that we know what is broken.

Updates to this list

This list should be revised twice a year, shortly after each schema change. It should take into account browser versions with at least a 0.5% share of traffic over the previous 6 months.
