EditNote Syntax

This page describes special syntax that is available in EditNotes. It's loosely inspired by Wiki (and especially MoinMoin) syntax.

Formatting

Name/Sample Markup Notes
italic ''italic'' Double single quotes.
bold '''bold''' Triple single quotes.

Linking to edits

Syntax:

edit #editid
OR
edit:editid
OR (simplest)
edit editid
where editid is the edit number.

Example: edit #123456 or Edit:123456 would result in: edit #123456.

Linking to WikiDocs pages

Syntax:

doc:WikiDocsPage
OR
[WikiDocsPage]
where WikiDocsPage is the name of the WikiDocsPage.

Example: doc:DiscNumberStyle or [DiscNumberStyle] would result in: DiscNumberStyle.

Linking to Artists, Releases, Labels, ...

Status: Not yet implemented. See ticket #1609.
