This means to create an evironment in which people who want to spend their free time to work on [[MusicBrainz]] - either as developers or in other ways - get all the support they need from the community. Developers even get liberties to make decisions. |

In some cases volunteers might need someone working as their "shield" (for developers this is the [[Idea Champion|IdeaChampion]]) who provides special support for them and assumes all the communication between the volunteer and the community. |
