A hidden track can mean:

* a track that is not listed on the release's sleeve (→[[Style/Unknown and untitled/Special purpose track title|Untitled Track Style]]).
* a song in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregap pregap] of track 1 on a CD, i.e. is located before the first track (a so-called pregap track). These should be entered as [[Standalone Recording|standalone recordings]] until ticket [http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/MBS-967 MBS-967] is implemented. There is also a list of [[Releases With Pregap Tracks|releases with pre-gap tracks]].
