• some of them require intensive researchs in language X (say: german)
• some of them require specific knowledge of "genre" Y (say: classical)
• some of them are simple homebrews, but most of them are a bit more tricky
• some of them may be simply ok...

Editing suggestions:

Common typos:

• oeil for œil
• coeur for cœur
• soeur for sœur
• moeurs for mœurs

Mangled collabs and feats:

• There are a lot of duos/trios/grouped artists names that are either incomplete or simply bogus (search the VA albums, especially taratata stuff)
• tracks titles containings "(avec " or "(en duo avec" are indeed "feats"

Investigate and report:

You may use the artist "Television Theme Songs" to "dump" in TV comp albums actually sorted under bogus artists.

First id has four tracks offsetted by 30sec~1minute, I can't decide if it's legit or not (note: I know for sure the second id *is* legit):

Strange stuff, part 1: A few tracks offsetted:

• L'Essentiel (disc 1) track #8 with 1 minute offset
• Les copains d'abord (disc 1) track #5 is 20' shorter in one of the three ids, and the two other ids are in the range of +2secs on each track
• Trainspotting #2 the two ids have the *exact* same offset map, then #12 starts 2 sector later, and is 30 seconds longer
• Let's Talk About Love ten seconds offset on #10

Probably ok, but needs confirmation:

• Les copains d'abord (disc 2) 12 seconds offset on one track
• Hors-saison track #3 is 15 seconds offseted
• In Classical Mood, Volume 3: Tranquility track #4 is 30 seconds offseted

... though they ended up in this list for some reason we might need to guess before removing them definitely

• Tina Arena ended up in french artists because she sometimes sings in french, which is the definition of this list. To remove her (as Joan Baez and others...), we must decide if this list is about artists who have at least some titles in french, or about artists who sing mostly in french
  • a (really quick) look at her releases gives me the feeling she sang very few french songs (but this need to be verified). Now, I'm suggesting the following criteria: "Is to be included in the main list an artist with at least one release with language set to french. Artists with no such release, but with a few french tracks should be included in a secondary list we could possibly maintain below".
    • I would draw the limit elsewhere... or add another category. Christopher Young did a release in french, and I am sure there must be other esoteric examples!
