Timing: This project is being restarted as of mid-January 2009. How long it will take is not clear, except that it will be weeks not months. It originally started on August 6, 2008, but got blocked by not recruiting the appropriate participants quickly. The project stalled from then until January. |

The StyleCouncil/August2008ProcessReview is a project to get the MusicBrainz StyleCouncil process unstuck and moving smoothly. It consists of work by a small group of interested MusicBrainz contributors and MusicBrainz leaders, followed by a community review and endorsement. StyleCouncil leader JimDeLaHunt leads the project.
Rationale and Philosphy
Two mb-style postings give an idea why we're doing this project:

Participants
Jim and Robert are recruiting a few MB participants to work on this review. If you'd like to volunteer, please add your name and MB user name here. Jim will let you know if you are accepted. We have to keep the group small to make it manageable.
