History?

So, murdos restored this page.... Why does this page need to be in this wiki? It's obsoleted code, of no use to users. If you want to keep history, put it on the FTP and forget about it, no need to keep a wiki page. We already have more history pages with obsoleted information than pages with relevant information. That's why this wiki is a pain to edit and to search -- way too much cruft. Do we really want to keep every single bit of history no matter how irrelevant it is?
