Description
This AdvancedRelationshipAttribute specifies which instrument an artist played. Note that an artist can play more than one instrument on the same track, which can be represented by adding one relationship for each instrument.

Possible Values
The complete list of instruments can be found in the AdvancedInstrumentTree.

Please discuss new instrument requests at InstrumentAdditionDiscussion.

Used with Types
This attribute can be applied to the following AdvancedRelationshipTypes:
* ArrangerRelationshipType
* PerformerRelationshipType
* SupportingMusicianRelationshipType

It's been proposed that it should be possible to specify an instrument when recording a person's membership of a band (MusicalAssociationRelationshipClass).

Taxonomy
Could someone explain where this taxonomy came from? I'm sure there's been plenty of work done in the field of instrument taxonomy, so hopefully we're not duplicating this work ourselves. --MatthewExon
