A MashUp is a song that consists of parts of more than one other song. This is done in a way that all songs it is built of are recognisable. A common type of MashUp is the use of the vocals of one song, matched to the music of another song. |

Note that songs that use samples from other songs are generally not MashUp<code><nowiki></nowiki></code>s. There is, however, no fine line between MashUp<code><nowiki></nowiki></code>s and those songs. |
