Mash-up

MashUp

A MashUp is a song that consists of parts of more than one other song. This is done in a way that all songs it is built of are recognisable. A common type of MashUp is the use of the vocals of one song, matched to the music of another song.

Note that songs that use samples from other songs are generally not MashUps. There is, however, no fine line between MashUps and those songs.
