Il '''ne''' faut '''pas''' croire que ces règles s'appliquent à d'autres langues.<br/> === Catalogues, opus & numéros === – Les catalogues doivent toujours être précédés d'une virgule et d'un espace.<br/> – Les opus doivent toujours être écrits en minuscules et abrégés comme suit : « op. » (Il doit y avoir un espace avant le numéro).<br/> – Les numéros, lorsqu'abrégés, doivent être écrits comme suit (autant que possible) : « nᵒ ». « no » est acceptable puisque « nᵒ » peut être diffile à écrire sur certains claviers. Il doit y avoir un espace (insécable si possible) avant et après « nᵒ » et « no ».
