Series - Isaac Stern: A Life in Music

A 44 CD set spanning the career of violinist Isaac Stern, put out by Sony Classical in 1995, available both as individual volumes and as four separate box-sets.

Rationales for Editing

  • Release Title will list composers and works.
  • Release Artist should be Isaac Stern, in keeping with Classical Release Artist Style.
    • I'm going by the "mixed recital" exception. Even though a particular volume might feature only one composer, over all the series focuses on the performer.
    • see also: the Series/Glenn_Gould_Complete.
  • In keeping with VolumeNumberStyle, the Release Titles should reflect:
    1. The name of the series, "A Life in Music"
    2. The VolumeNumber, usually found on the back cover of the release in this case, often viewable on Amazon.
    3. The VolumeTitle, usually the composers and works found in this volume.
    4. The disc number in the case of a multi-disc release.
  • No information will be lost. I'll add AR's for composer, conductor and performers.
