This page outlines the capitalization rules for the Latvian language. It forms part of the MusicBrainz CapitalizationStandard.

In English

General rule is that only the first word of sentence starts with a capital letter. The rest of the words are in lower case, unless they are not:

  • The name or surname of the person
  • The name of geographic location (Name of country, city, street, river, mountain etc.)
