This page outlines the capitalization rules for the Turkish language. It forms part of the MusicBrainz CapitalizationStandard.

Türkçe

Cümlelerde ilk kelimenin ilk harfi büyük, sonraki kelimeler küçük yazılır. Kelime isim ise ilk harfi büyük yazılır.

In English

The first word of a sentence should be capitalized. After this, proper names ("Sezen Aksu", "İbrahim Tatlıses") should be capitalized.

Discussion

Some of the cheaply produced CDs on the markets have pretty "interesting" liner notes. Some of those people don't seem to bother with their own language :-( --hakan
