Guidelines

Soundtrack style should generally follow the normal release guidelines, with the below exceptions.

Work

The name of the show should be enclosed in quotation marks along with a distinguisher if applicable (often the year) and followed by a colon. Then the track name itself should be added (if available), and finally the episode or season where the track was used (if applicable).

Name
“Title of show”: Name of track (Episode or season, if applicable)

Examples:

  • “The Empire Strikes Back”: Imperial March
  • “Pushing Daisies”: Main Titles
  • “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”: Theme This show has a subtitle, hence the need for quotation marks
  • “The Twilight Zone: Main Title (First Season) This show had two different main titles in different seasons
