The mb-style Mailing List
Purpose
This MailingList serves as the discussion area where people can discuss StyleGuidelines and general style related issues.
Description and Good Style
mb-style is a mailing list to discuss general issues of style, like proposing new StyleGuidelines, or discussing whether to change an existing StyleGuideline. It is not about specific cases of data and the question what style should be applied in these cases. Those cases belong to the UsersMailingList.
Ideally such general issues come up in the UsersMailingList in connection to a concrete case. When people find that they have run into a general issue, the thread should move over to the StyleMailingList.
"Do you need a decision by the Style Council to solve your problem?". If the answer is "no", or "I don't know" (or even "What is the StyleCouncil?", then post your question to the UsersMailingList.
