Free is not free :-) What about where downloads are tied to conditions, like registering an email address or something? Does that qualify as free enough?

Shepard, it's my understanding that direct links to MP3s are frowned on unless they have a Creative Commons license--in which case you should use a Creative-Commons-licensed-download link instead of this type. --LarryGilbert
