The titles typically used to describe the manager position are:

Artist Manager
Band Manager
Manager
Talent Manager

The titles typically used to describe the tour manager position are:

Concert Tour Manager
Road Manager
Tour Manager

Attributes

  • start date
This indicates the first date that the artist was employed.
  • end date
This indicates the last date that the artist was employed.
  • tour
This indicates that the managing responsibilities were related to touring: scheduling, making travel arrangements, hiring support staff, etc.

Guidelines

  • This position should be documented; it must not be assumed.
  • A manager must be a person artist.
  • A manager is almost never a member of the group.
