This is the release plan for our cover art archive server release.
Before the release:
setup caa schema on totorosetup CAA-indexer and pgq on Pino to point to totoroOn pino, update CAA-indexer to point to the production database- On pino, update coverart_redirect to point to the production database
- (a coverart_redirect.conf.production is provided, check that nothing in there is outdated before using it)
- Clear out test data at the internet archive:
- Use s3cmd to list and nuke all cover art archive buckets
During the actual release:
- On web frontends, update to latest code
After the actual release:
- Transclude updated version of http://musicbrainz.org/doc/About_MusicBrainz/Data_License
