Automatic Merging

The conversion script will merge current releases into release groups if:

Counter examples (Example of bad results)

  • they have release event with all fields filled in and all fields except the catalog number are the same
    • These EPs have been release separately, but also in a boxset: Mathematics & With the Invisible. Because of the common release event (for the boxset) their release-group is going to be merged, which is wrong.
