Who am I?

[ MB: Editor:murdos | Last.fm: murdos | Languages: French (native), English (some) ]

An editor known as Editor:murdos and Aurélien. A French guy working in IT Services and living in Lyon.

My main goal is to improve the situation of French artists which definitely need work. I would also like to review edits about French stuff in order to help French editors. Having your edits reviewed and having a feed back is really encouraging ;)

I also enjoy some indie rock and various style artists on which I'll keep an eye.

What is on this page?

Some random stuff, essentially links helping me to vote and edit.

Extra-editing stuff I've been workin' on

Editors I'm usually working with:

Editors with relatively few edits, but who are cooperative, leave edit notes and want to learn. But they need your advices!

Other editors that have to be watched, but not for the same reasons ;):

  • Pff http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/CapitalizationStandardFrenchDiscussion?action=diff&rev2=65&rev1=64 -- jesus2099 09:39, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
    • Reverted because it was nothing but a subjective and not constructive argument. Please DeleteWhenCooked. -- murdos 09:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
      • Here is the meaning (from the link I put on the Rube Goldberg machine argument :
        • A Rube Goldberg machine is a deliberately overengineered apparatus that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually using a chain reaction.
This is not meaningless, is it ? I thought it was properly summing up this method that, even worsely, seak an objective (sorting if I understood the thing) that no one is using anyway. :D -- jesus2099 10:58, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
        • This is still subjective and FUD. You are thinking that our rules are overengineered. There are people (and this is not a minority) who don't find it overengineered, understand them, and use them. If you want to readd your "Rube Goldberg machine" argument, you should also - to be fair - include that option 1 is simplistic and is a dumbing down. -- murdos 11:15, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
