A few thoughts on existing guidelines deeply affected by NGS:

  • Disc Number Style: with support for multiple media releases, this is not useful anymore. Information should be kept somewhere however to explain why a lot of releases (that have not yet been fixed) have this "(disc X: Y") thing.
  • Amazon Relationship Type: only one URL was used for an ASIN available on multiple stores ("It is preferred to enter the version of the amazon store which sells the original version"). Since release-events are split in different releases, adding more ASIN links for the specific store matching the release country might be needed.
