My name is Sam Ley. I love music, computing, driving my scooter, and bicycling, and other stuff too.

I'm the developer for the Mac OS X plugin for the AudioScrobbler project - (iScrobbler - which collects data on what people are playing in order to generate similarity information. The project has some conceptual ties to this one, and we are actually looking to eventually incorporate information from MusicBrainz in our track identification routines.

I'm also looking to potentially port the TRM library, though my programming abilities, particularly in the realm of C++, aren't great. I was able to get the mad libraries to compile, but finally got hung up compiling the actual TRM app. However, I haven't given up yet. I'd love to talk to anyone who has made some progress in this area.
