• Search for artist names in track titles and thus not following the ClassicalStyleGuide. Especially useful for (classical) composers. Search results often return tracks with the composer name in the track name and the performing artist (orchestra, pianist) as track/release artist. A lot of these releases can be converted to Various Artists releases. You can also check the other releases by that performing artist, because they often are wrong too. Only a few performing artists are composer themselves. Examples of artist names in track titles:

  • Rachmaninov
  • Ravel

• Search for conductors in artist names, which might indicate classical releases:

  • Wow, you really got me, man ! :D Who wants his e-mail in web archives forever ? By the way, that is very anti-democratic to just say, I prefer this or that. :) And all the examples in the website are convincing for e-mail I think. More when you think the e- represents a word.
