* Search for artist names in track titles and thus not following the [[Classical Style Guide|ClassicalStyleGuide]]. Especially useful for (classical) composers. Search results often return tracks with the composer name in the track name and the performing artist (orchestra, pianist) as track/release artist. A lot of these releases can be converted to Various Artists releases. You can also check the other releases by that performing artist, because they often are wrong too. Only a few performing artists are composer themselves. Examples of artist names in track titles:
** [http://www.musicbrainz.org/newsearch.html?limit=25&table=track&search=vivaldi Vivaldi]

** [http://www.musicbrainz.org/newsearch.html?limit=25&table=track&search=ravel Ravel]

* Search for conductors in artist names, which might indicate classical releases:
** [http://www.musicbrainz.org/newsearch.html?limit=25&table=artist&search=conductor conductor]
** [http://www.musicbrainz.org/newsearch.html?limit=25&table=artist&search=cond cond]

==Suggestion==

Extending the shown new mods with mods that are for an artist that your subscribed artist is part of (in the literal sense).

For example: I'm subscribed to Bob Dylan. When someone enters a song by 'Bob Dylan & Jack White' and thus creating a new artist, I wouldn't know about it without searching for Bob Dylan once a week, for example.

In a way all collaborations of Bob Dylan are related to Bob Dylan, even if the Related Artists algorithm doesn't say so.

Note to self: repost this to mb-users on July 12 2005...
