* See [[Proposals#The_Standard_Process]] - I assume he was making old proposals standard with new ones? (the idea of them being under User: is that it's clearer and nicer when there are several proposals for the same thing - which should happen more often than it does, given that for vetoing an alternative should be given...)

* To make it more obvious that it is a "just" a proposal, and shouldn't be followed as a guideline -- and also to make it immediately obvious who the idea champion is for the proposal.

  • See Proposals#The_Standard_Process - I assume he was making old proposals standard with new ones? (the idea of them being under User: is that it's clearer and nicer when there are several proposals for the same thing - which should happen more often than it does, given that for vetoing an alternative should be given...)
