The last point, proposals and discussion of new features has become some of a problem for some developers recently. See MailingListDiscussion.
The last point, proposals and discussion of new features is not always seen favourably. MusicBrainz is a very complex system and new features need to fit into it. Therefore If you ask for a pony or your proposal does not fit into the current structure, you might get ignored. See MailingListDiscussion for some history about this problem.

The MusicBrainz Users' Mailing List

If you are interested in keeping in touch or getting involved with the MusicBrainz project, please subscribe to the musicbrainz-users mailing list. This list is designed for general discussion about the MusicBrainz project and any general questions and issues that might arise.

Topics

The MusicBrainz user's MailingList is currently the most active of all MusicBrainzForums. It is the place for user to ask

 • how best to use the current system
 • what to do about controversial edits and votes
 • problems using the web site or the client software
 • questions about the exact interpretation of the StyleGuidelines
 • possible future development

The last point, proposals and discussion of new features is not always seen favourably. MusicBrainz is a very complex system and new features need to fit into it. Therefore If you ask for a pony or your proposal does not fit into the current structure, you might get ignored. See MailingListDiscussion for some history about this problem.
