The MusicBrainz Users' Mailing List
If you are interested in keeping in touch or getting involved with the MusicBrainz project, please subscribe to the musicbrainz-users mailing list. This list is designed for general discussion about the MusicBrainz project and any general questions and issues that might arise.
The MusicBrainz user's MailingList is currently the most active of all MusicBrainzForums. It is the place for user to ask
- how best to use the current system
- what to do about controversial edits and votes
- problems using the web site or the client software
- possible future development
The last point, proposals and discussion of new features has become some of a problem for some developers recently. See MailingListDiscussion.
Read Mail
- Nabble hosts a searchable combined archive of all MusicBrainz MailingList
s. - Gmane hosts a searchable archive, viewable in threaded and blog-like modes. Gmane also provides NNTP gateway for MusicBrainz MailingList
s. - MusicBrainz also hosts a pipermail archive. This is far less comfortable than the Nabble or Gmane archive, though. You can search these archives via Google.
