This describes a situation where an artist has changed its name.

“start date”
- This should be the date the rename occurred. The same date should be used in both the start and end date fields, as an artist is not "renamed" over a period of time.
“end date”
- This should be the date the rename occurred. The same date should be used in both the start and end date fields, as an artist is not "renamed" over a period of time.
Guidelines
For cases when the name changes are very minor, or the artist is considered as clearly the same under the different names (see A Silver Mt. Zion), don't keep the entities separate just for the sake of this relationship.

- On a Friday was renamed into Radiohead
- Radiohead is the later name of On a Friday
