Description
This links an artist to another artist who provided them with instruction on how to play one or more instruments.
Link Phrases
- Artist provides/provided instrument training to Artist
- Artist is/was taught to play an instrument by Artist
- Artist provides/provided {{instrument}} training to Artist
- Artist is/was taught to play {{instrument}} by Artist
Attributes
- start date
- This indicates the date on which instruction first took place.
- end date
- This indicates the date on which instruction last took place.
- instrument
- This indicates the instrument(s) which were taught.
Guidelines
- This relationship type may be combined with Teacher Position Relationship Type and/or Vocal Coach Position Relationship Type, if applicable.
- There must have been at least a semi-formal teacher-student relationship present. This relationship type should not be used simply because an artist taught themselves to play an instrument while listening to recordings of another artist, once had a conversation with an artist, played in a band with an artist, etc.
- Both artists must be person artists.
