Guidelines
Do not confuse this relationship type with the Conductor Relationship Type or Chorus Master Relationship Type. A conductor or chorus master works only with instruments and vocals and conducts the music directly, sometimes inside the recording booth. A recording director only works during studio recording sessions and always works from outside the recording booth.
An important side note: In previous RFCs, some people mentioned a director-like credit relating to visuals, choreography, etc. That is what is commonly referred to as creative direction and we now have a separate relationship for it.
