This page outlines the capitalization rules for the Norwegian language. It forms part of the MusicBrainz CapitalizationStandard.
This guideline applies both to Bokmål and Nynorsk. If you are unsure which language is used on a release, but you are certain that it is one of the two Norwegian languages, then use instead the "Norwegian" language option.
In English
Main rule: Only the first word and proper names (Edvard Grieg, Bergen, Norway etc.) should be capitalized.
