This is a sort of proposal to restructure the language system to allow for regional dialects. Currently if we were to add a new dialect it would have to be added as a unique language, which is both clunky and misleading.

The way I have this pictured now is we would still have the same drop-down box for languages, but once a language is selected there would be a second drop-down box containing regions and different dialects. This box might look like the locale box but tailored slightly.
