It's usually a good idea to merge a misspelled artist into the correctly spelled version. This is preferable to doing a [[Move Album|MoveAlbum]] or [[Change Track Artist|ChangeTrackArtist]], because [[Merge Artists|MergeArtists]] automatically adds the "lost" artist name as an [[Artist Alias|ArtistAlias]] to the target artist. |

So next time someone attempts to add a track to the misspelled artist, the [[Artist Alias|ArtistAlias]] will automatically redirect them to the correct spelling, instead of re-creating the incorrect spelling. |
