Strong Guidelines
Strong StyleGuidelines are the second strongest rule of the StylePrinciples and override the default policy of using ConsistentOriginalData in cases where ArtistIntent is not applicable.
- Note that the StylePrinciples are a ProposedStyleGuideline yet, and still under discussion.
The following StyleGuidelines are considered strong guidelines:
- Nearly all abbreviations must be expanded, except for in cases in which a strong evidence for an ArtistIntent on using abbreviations in titles and/or track names can be provided.
- Numbered series of tracks or albums must be named according to PartNumberStyle or VolumeNumberStyle, except for cases in which a strong evidence for an ArtistIntent can be provided or SeriesNumberStyle, PartNumberStyle and/or VolumeNumberStyle allow exceptions.
