The following are short biographies of some of the people behind MusicBrainz. There are developers who write the software for the web site and client applications, system administrators who keep the servers running, style editors who edit the style guidelines, and editors who add to and improve the accuracy of the data itself, but all of them contribute their efforts to help make MusicBrainz work better for everyone.

The MusicBrainz Community
MusicBrainz wouldn't be the same without its user community. See the top editors list for a list of people who've contributed the most number of edits. Most of these users are AutoEditor

Of course, this is not the only way, others who contributed less edits may have shared their knowledge about specific artists in the database, or helped building the community, etc. Quite a number of users who have made contributions to the wiki have created their own Wiki page. See a list the pages which have the, and if you haven't created one of your own, don't hesitate to do so...

- .. Since 2000, when MusicBrainz was created, lots of people came, and left the project again. Therefore, the list of people which were mentioned on previous versions of this page was moved to MusicBrainzContributors. Since it is impossible to keep this list up-to-date, we don't even try...
